Wire - "154" LP - Warner Bros Records BSK 3398 - 1979 First US Pressing - VG+
This was the third album from UK band Wire, issued in the US by Warner Bros Records in September 1979. This release continued the band's evolution from the hardcore punk of their debut LP Pink Flag to a more experimental art rock approach.
First US pressing features a printed inner sleeve with lyrics. There were no insert sheets. The song "Map Ref. 41°N 93°W" is misspelled as "Map Ref. 47°N 93°W" on the B-side label, as with all other initial US pressings. Can also be identfied thru matrix runout info. Please feel free to verify features of various release versions on Discogs if you have any concerns.
Overall condition is VG+. Vinyl is VG+/EX with some light scuffing mostly on side 1. Sleeve is VG+/EX, still in shrinkwrap with minor corner/edge wear along sleeve opening, a small stain, and a price sticker on back. Inner sleeve is VG, some wrinkling with a pinhole puncture, tiny stain, and small seam split.
