Description
UK 1st pressings of early Wire albums go for silly money these days, so here's your chance to grab a bargain.
First, the good news: it's a genuine 1st press (A2/B2 matrices) with the lilac lyric inner (rounded corners), and vinyl plays close to Excellent – just very occasional minor surface noise. A few hairlines but no bad scratches. And a genuine post-punk classic.
Now the bad news: as you can see, at some point in its lifespan something has nibbled the top right corner of the sleeve and inner, and also had a go at the lower part of the opening edge. It's a shame as in all other respects it's in good shape.
So, bid accordingly for the vinyl and maybe look to upgrade the sleeve and inner if you get the chance.
