Wire - Pink Flag, EMI Harvest SHSP 4076, 1977, first UK pressing in very good VG + condition. This is Wire’s first studio album, released in November 1977 by Harvest, a widely acclaimed and influential punk rock album.

What makes this a first pressing?

• dark green and lime Harvest label

• small EMI logo on label

• thick card lyric inner sleeve with rounded corners

• SHSP 4076 on spine, back cover, labels and inner sleeve

• Matrix stamped SHSP 4076 A-4 1GG, etched Blair & stamped SHSP 4076 B-3 1GD

Condition of cover, inner sleeve and vinyl is VERY GOOD Plus, VG +

Vinyl has been played, some light scuffs and scratches, not affecting the playback, no warps, label with the spindle marks.

Inner sleeve with wear, some seam splitting.

Cover with printed in Great Britain and TM 7711 (November 1977) reference, with wear. Spine legible.

Play graded on a Thorens TD 160, Ortofon VMS20E MkII, B&W 685 speakers.

NOTE - I am also auctioning the Wire albums - Chairs missing & 154, both UK first pressings.

Grading as per RRPG. Returns accepted.

Postage: tracked and signed UK / worldwide, combined postage possible, posted in professional mailers with stiffeners, vinyl will be removed from the cover and placed behind cover in a plastic sleeve.

Europe/Rest of the free world is £15.00, international tracked/signed for. Postage to Russia with Royal Mail currently at £16.50
