Description
Just in time for Halloween, I have up for grabs a copy of Ghosts, Witches and Goblins as told by Vincent Price on vinyl LP from 1972. The visual grade of the vinyl is VG. No scratches; just some wear and some writing on one of the labels. The play grade is a little more difficult to determine... This is a spoken word album with zero music or sound effects to drown out some of the surface noise; just Vincent's voice. Therefore, there is light surface noise throughout with the occasional pop or click, but no skips. I have to believe even an unplayed copy of this particular release would have at least some surface noise. Therefore, I'm going to grade the play grade G+ even though the vinyl looks much better than that. Perhaps a more sophisticated cleaning system would tone down some of the surface noise? The cover also grades VG. It is pretty solid except for some tape residue in the upper left corner caused by me removing a sticker. The writing on the sticker matched that of the writing on the label which leads me to believe this was some sort of filing system used by a school or library. Buy it now to get it in time for Halloween.
