Description
This is a very good original stereo pressing copy of a 1967 various artists LP on the Mainstream label. The record compiles both the a- and b-sides of singles by four groups, along with some otherwise unavailable tracks by two of the groups. The best known (to collectors) is Euphoria, who went on to release a rare LP on the Capitol label, and whose 1966 freakbeat single "Hungry Women"/"No Me Tomorrow" is included here. Also notable is the Harbinger Complex, who are represented by their 1966 punk single "I Think I'm Down" and a couple of previously unreleased tracks. The jacket has one main flaw: its top seam is wholly split. It is otherwise in fine overall shape with a ½” split in the bottom seam; light wear on the spine, bottom seam, and edge; a small patch of white out(?) on the back cover; and light creasing along the spine -- overall VG. The disc is warped. This creates a light whoosh at times on side 2, but otherwise has no appreciable effect on play that I can hear. The disc otherwise has some scraping and scuffing, and plays with light surface noise -- overall VG+.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs.
