1 MOTHER STAMPERS TO BOTH SIDES

FULLY PLAY TESTED. NO SKIPS, JUMPS OR STICKING. SUPERB. EXCELLENT PLUS.

With The Beatles * JOBETE & GOTTA MISPRINT * UK 1st * PRESS 1N/1N; Vinyl appearance is VG+, and the sleeve is excellent, as is the original Emitex inner, whilst the audio is superb/excellent plus. In fact, I’ve rarely heard better on a 60yr old record.

Complete and original MONO U.K. first pressing of The Beatles 2nd studio album.

Comes with the rare 1st variant ‘TWO’ misprints - ‘JOBETE’ mis-credit for Money, and the mis-printed song title ‘You Really GOTTA Hold On Me’, rather than the later corrected ‘You Really Got A Hold On Me’.

Also comes with the original front side laminated G&L sleeve, which also has the mis-spelling of ‘You Really GOTTA Hold On Me (track 3, side 2).

Side 2: XEX 448-1N

Mother: 1

The album is complete with the original polythene lined ‘Use Emitex’ die-cut inner.

AUDIO. EXCELLENT PLUS.

ABSOLUTELY NO SKIPS, JUMPS OR STICKING. VERY LITTLE SURFACE NOISE, EVEN BETWEEN TRACKS. HAVE RARELY HEARD BETTER. SUPERB. CLEAR, STRONG, PUNCHY SOUND. VERY FEW CLICKS/POPS. EXCELLENT PLUS.

VINYL APPEARANCE. VG+

The vinyl is VG in appearance. Side 1 with fewer marks/hairlines/light scratches than Side 1. A few visible scratches, though none have any affect on audio, which remains as minimum excellent throughout.

SLEEVE. EXCELLENT (G&L)

Sleeve. Excellent, with just a little light creasing. The front panel retaining its sheen. Excellent spine, which is clearly legible. Clean flip-backs, with some minor feathering to opening/left of track listing. No rips. No tares. No graffiti.

LABELS. VG+

Labels. Clean, bright and graffiti free, though with with some spindle ware; more noticeable to side 2. Embossed KT tax code to side 1, and of course, the ‘You Really Gotta Hold On Me’ error, and ‘Jobete’ mis-credit.

INNER. EXCELLENT PLUS.

Original polythene-liner Use Emitex die-cut inner in excellent plus condition. A tiny tare to left side of window. (Pictured).

So in conclusion, this is a first press Mono, of The Beatles second album, Jobete press, incorrect spelling to sleeve and label of ‘You Really Gotta Hold’, KT tax code, and the record housed in its original poly-lined Emitex inner, with superb audio. Overall grading is excellent.
