Description

An original 1st issue on UK Parlophone. Matrix 7/7. NOT the 1st press from November. By the release date they had pressed so many copies they were probably already up to 3's and 5's. 7N comes from around Xmas-63 time. Note the 'Parlophone' perimeter text and 'recording 1st pub' till exhibiting. This is a clean 1st issue from from whilst charting. The early copies are heavy pressed and sound fab. The vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover. We also have the original Emitex inner from the time too . So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. For the vintage- absolutely superb. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A consistently great playing copy...from '63. Good low level detail and this is deffo THE way to hear this classic LP. Why risk a 50/50 copy? It pays clean as a whistle...think about that for a second. A Beatles record..60 years old,,plays like a dream. I mean that gets my attention! What I can guarantee is you a near perfect audio rendition. Don't under estimate how impressive that is. Playing clean throughout into the quieter numbers. Guaranteed to play better than any copy online you look at! FINAL UPGRADE. Never heard better...
Cover (Ex-) A lovely looking cover and don't underestimate how difficult it is to find the '63 copies with a clean back!. PLEASE NOTE - an inscription made out re Lennon's demise in NY appears at the bottom on the rear. Kind of poignant I feel. Really clean surfaces and lovely front image. The rear seems to have avoid most of the usual ageing process - terrific. The paper surface is close to proper white. Just slight ageing on the flips. Nice firm openings. Minimal edge wear and 100% intact spine. Overall the over retains excellent rigidity. Super specimen.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
