Description
One of the true jewels of my collection. A 1st press of "With The Beatles" in absolutely stunning condition. (Please look at my photographs).
The sleeve is nearly as white and as crisp as the day it was issued back in November 1963 ! There is just the slightest evidence of ringwear to the front and a feint mark to the top right flipback on the rear but that is all. The word "stereo" on the front is larger than the following versions. There is no writing anywhere on this album.
Emitex inner sleeve.
The labels are clean with just the slightest evidence of 'spider' marks around the spindle holes. Side 2 is embossed with the KT tax code. The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Parlophone Co Ltd". The label has the "Recording first published 1963" but not the "Sold in the UK" statements. On side 2 track 3 has the "You Really Gotta Hold On Me" error, together with the incorrect publishing credit for "Money" as "Jobette".
The vinyl has no significant surface marks just some evidence of 'bag rash'. The matrix and stampers are YEX110-2 '2' RP on side 1 and YEX111-2 '3' EL on side 2. Audibly it is truely awesome. Even the run-ins are virtually silent. (I never describe anything as mint. How can it be unless it has just come from the shop and never been played). But this is as good as it gets. Bid with confidence - you will never need to upgrade this copy.
This is a very rare and infinitely collectable record. There are very few stereo first pressings of "With The Beatles". You could search for years to find one that comes anywhere close to the truely stunning condition of this one. You will not be disappointed. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
I am a collector and not a dealer. Current circumstances force me to break up my collection. Those of you who have previously bought from me will know that I try to be as honest as I can with my descriptions. Usually to a point of being over critical. I would ask those of you who have not bought from me to kindly check out my feedback from previous buyers.
