Description
PCS3045 an original One EMI Box 1970 pressing of WTB's on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix -2/-2. The record comes housed in an original Garrod and Lofhouse flipback cover. Also, included is the original EMI inner sleeve from 1970.
Vinyl (MINT-) I have to say it's not often you can use this rating legitimately on an early Beatles LP because they are very few and far between. None the less this it is certainly an apt description for this LP. Knocking on 44 years old this LP can only have been played a handful of times. Just look at the labels - they are stunning. Under close inspection I cannot see a single mark - nothing at all. Both sides are shiny like new. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, Excellent+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are absolutely silent - not even a hint of background. The audio comes across bold and with absolutely top notch clarity. All the instrumentation comes across perfectly and you can easily pick out each one in turn. This record is guaranteed to please the most fussy listener...or your money back.
Cover (Ex) Again, has been well cared for and clearly only seen occasional use. The front cover is nice and shiny and only exhibits one some very low level wear. The rear, whilst not perfect is pretty close on white. the structural integrity of the cover is good. All flipbacks are intact and the cover has a nice rigid feel to it. Edge wear is pretty minimal and the text on the spine is fully readable.
Inner (Vg+) Some light ageing, but no markings rips or tears. A very nice original example indeed.
