THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1969 UK STEREO PRESSING LP
In October 1969 EMI introduced thier new '1-EMI-box' design label to replace the yellow & black design which had been employed since April 1963. These new pressings utilized the same matrices with the original 'tube-cut' mixes as the 1st pressings, and are arguably their equal in sound quality.
This NEAR MINT copy dates from late 1969 and is on that '1-EMI-box' Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels rim texts begin: 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' with 'Made In Gt. Britain' around the bottom.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover without a front stereo indicator.
Complete with its original red & white EMI inner-sleeve depicting Beatles, McCartney & Ringo LPs.
Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2 (the same as the 1963 1st pressing)
Stamper codes: 4/OH & 2,5/OH
Vinyl weight: 139g

No spindle marks or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate deep-gloss surfaces which apart from a few faint inner-sleeve storage marks are 'as new' on both strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Pressed on thick quality vinyl, both sides of which lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
Spectacular and flawless sound throughout this barely, if ever played copy which will not disappoint.

EXCELLENT
Clean & strong with just a light handling/shelf wear but no major faults. The clean, high-gloss front panel bears three spine bends and two 'thumbnail' wrinkles but is free from any major wear. The rear panel is free from any marks or blemishes & both seams and the fully worded spine are smooth, unstressed & unworn.

Clean & uncreased with some soft age-toning & a faint disc impression but no major faults.
