Description
The Mobile Fidelity "With the Beatles" album (MFSL 1-102) is extremely rare. It was produced in very limited quantities as the stamper was damaged during production and never replaced. Both the record and the cover are in NM+++ condition. This one has been played but is in my opinion still in mint condition, though technically if it's been played you have to say NM condition.
In other auctions ending at around the same time as this, I'm also selling the MFSL versions of "Please Please Me", "A Hard Days Night", and "Beatles for Sale". I bought these 4 albums in the early 90s and very soon thereafter had them put onto CDs, so I've rarely played the actual records. No scratches, etc. In fact, these are better than buying a new one unsealed. I found that unsealed new ones, even though MFSL, when I opened them and played them could have a lot of ticks and pops. So I went through several back then before I settled on these, which have virtually no surface noise.
Any time I did play the records I handled them very carefully. Both the records and the covers are in near perfect condition. I've kept the albums in plastic covers, from the time I bought them, with the records kept in separate protection, so I never had to touch the covers to remove records. There are no splits on these covers and no record impressions on the covers.
