With the Beatles by the Beatles.
PMC 1206
XEX 447 1N/438 1N
UK mono second pressing to the best of my knowledge.
Firstly, the record:
Visually both labels show some forgivable spindle marks but the playing surfaces are _superb._
This disk has been exceptionally well looked after - it's a stunner.
There's a fingerprint or two so I would recommend a pro clean.
I've play tested it & it sounds amazing with quiet run ins & no significant deterioration in sound quality. It wears its nearly 6 decades very lightly.
As a side note though Roll Over Beethoven skips twice. This is a known pressing fault with these early copies & so is not a reflection on condition.
They were often taken back to shops & destroyed so in a roundabout way this imperfection actually makes it a rarer beast!!
Secondly, the sleeve:
G & L flipback version.
Clean, strong & unmolested. The pictures tell a thousand words. Would look handsome in any collection.
It comes with a clean emitex inner.
You'll struggle to find a nicer copy at this starting price.
