Description
With the Beatles. Rare first & highly sought after UK mono pressing to the best of my knowledge.

XEX 447 1N/XEX 448 1N
Firstly, the record:
Visually it's clearly well used but aged well. I've cleaned it up to a nice enough gloss. Light marks on both sides but with no significant deep impact damage. Labels are clean without particular spindle wear.
I have play tested this record from start to finish (no *visual testing only* nonsense) and it sounds super. I can't guarantee you won't hear a single pop or crackle but it's generally nice, clear & enjoyable to me with no significant sound deterioration.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Garrod and Lofthouse flipback. Clean and unmarked on the front. Back shows the near standard issue pen marking on the pictures. Quite edge worn as you can see from the pictures though - this sleeve has seen plenty of action. Spine is good and readable if slightly cracked.
Original emitex inner is present & fully intact with two sympathetic repairs.
It seems fair to say that the sleeve with this is a grade lower than the record- it's not terrible but it does show some of its 55 or so years. The pictures tell a thousand words.
Further notes:
Obscure MKT tax code on side one - I think these codes were replaced by KT by 1964.
Erroneous Jobete credit for track B7 Money.
Track B3 listed as You Really Gotta Hold on Me on the sleeve & the record itself.
This is a very collectable Beatles record & certainly one of the most sought after pressings of this album in particular.
