Wonderlick -Hey Joe/Come on People- MGM Demo (1973 US)
Condition: VG+ (Please note that possibly due to a pressing fault the volume drops slightly between 17 and 19 seconds -Hear the clips)
Straight from the Garage into the Bonehead. 7 years after hitting the charts with The Leaves; Bobby Arlin reappears in 1973 giving Hey Joe a mighty revamp. Lyrically, the gun has been changed to a joint and it’s all about turning on “the man”. Musically it’s Loud and raucous with some real scorching guitar, there are a few surprises - check out the left of field riffing and other supplementary chord changes This really works.. So all you Garage stalwarts – outgrow your greying moptops and fading paisley shirts and enjoy this greasy haired OTT update. 1973 rules…

Grading. I don’t use the term Mint. I don’t believe that records manufactured over 30 years ago, even if unplayed, can be called mint.
Grading: Record/Cover
EX: Means either “near mint” to some light marks with hardly any noticeable noise. Sleeve has no or only minor wear.
VG: Means means some light background noise and more pronounced marks which do not affect the listening experience in a major way. Sleeve may be creased, minor discolouring, the odd fraying, some ringwear, seam split and perhaps some writing.
G: Means noticeable clicks or pop, may have scratches, but doesn’t skip or jump. Sleeve may be ripped, tape repair, large writing, sticker removal damage etc...
Fair: Not a pleasant listening experience, the disc is damaged, just a stop gap before upgrading. Sleeve is badly damaged, not one to frame on the wall...
Poor: I don’t sell records in poor condition
Postage: I offer reduced postage if more than 1 record is purchased: There was a significant increase in Royal Mail charges back in April, I have had to adapt postage prices accordingly.
All records sent out in professional mailers with 2 stiffeners. Records removed from sleeve if housed in picture sleeve.
Insurance strongly recommended for high priced items and compulsory for packages of a value of over £80. Insurance added at cost. I retain proof of postage for all items.
