Description

An original 1st press of WOODSTOCK on UK Atlantic. Matrix A1/B1/C1/D1/E2/F1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original TRIPLE gatefold printed by E J Day. We also have the original plastic bag warning inners. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can make out, perhaps, one superficial trail mark per disk, plus a couple of light marks per disk - nothing remotely troublesome. Disc 2 is flat. Discs 1 & 3 are exhibiting a bit of edge wobble measured at max amplitude of 1MM [fully tested - minimal affect to audio]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are real nice and clean and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Six sides of superb audio - given the size of the gig, and the high jinks that were going on,...the audio is pretty fabbo. The odd crackle here and there in 'Dream' [nothing upfront] and a couple of isolated ticks [that's all]. Audio quality is amazing at times - check out 'Ten Years After'. Hardly any background. Plays real clean throughout.
Cover (Vg+) Surfaces look tidy with just light ageing and a touch of handling. Interior looks great - no issues. A bit of edge wear but nothing worrisome. Text on the spine is 90% legible with a bit of light wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inners (Vg) A bit aged. The odd split and tear.
