The item you are bidding on is 1 copy of the Warner Pioneer (Japan) triple album set of the original soundtrack to "Woodstock". This is a Japanese pressing which the discerning record buyer understands is superior in quality to the standard U.S. pressing, as the Japanese used a cleaner, heavier, vinyl, and took great care in their pressings. When Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs began to produce their audiophile grade reprints they went to Japan to have them pressed. Vinyl is Near Mint condition (Never Played). Dust Jacket (Cover) is Excellent (EX). It does show some age but is in overall very good shape. A few deviations from perfect have accumulated over time. The upper left corner at the top of the spine has been compressed and shows some small wrinkling, and there is a smaller dimple in the upper right corner. There are no seam splits and the central imagery is still bright with no visible ring wear. Includes (in Near Mint condition) the original 90cm X 60cm Lyric Poster. There is NO Obi."

"Woodstock: Music from the Original Soundtrack and More is the live album of the 1969 Woodstock concert. Originally released on Atlantic Records' Cotillion label as a set of 3 LPs in 1970 (later reissued on the Atlantic label), it was re-released as a double CD in 1994. Veteran producer Eddie Kramer was the sound engineer during the three-day event. The date of release of the original LP set was May 11, 1970.[2] This triple album set of the monumental outdoor concert features Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young performing live for only the second time. The performance of "Sea Of Madness" by Neil Young actually heard on the record, however, was in fact recorded a month after the festival at the Fillmore East auditorium in New York City."

Item will ship within approximately 72 hours of confirmed and cleared payment via USPS Media Mail (2-8 business days). (I strive to ship next day but sometimes the real world intervenes and weekends get in the way.)

Shipping Cost is computed based on the Media Mail Rate (5.01) plus the cost of the Shipping Carton (which includes extra stiffeners to protect the record(s) and is a flat 1.70 and double albums ship for the single album rate.

Thus Total Shipping Cost = Postage (5.01) + Shipping Carton (1.70) = $6.71

So, buyer's shipping cost for this triple LP set is $6.71.

Records are Shipped via USPS Media Mail in a carton specifically designed for LPs with extra reinforcement. I will combine orders up to a maximum of 3 discs per carton (the limit of the shipping cartons I use with stiffeners - I can go up to 5 but then have to omit the stiffeners).

Record Grading

All records are visually graded.

A note on Grading: The grading standards apply to the actual condition of the record and its cover. These gradings do not grade the quality of the actual pressing i.e., how good of a job was done in originally producing the album e.g., the presence or absence of tape hiss from the master session tapes.

A Key To The Grades:

MINT (M): No wear to the cover or record period! Unplayed condition and looks factory fresh.
Most dealers do not use this grade as no record is ever "perfect".

NEAR MINT or NM, and sometimes M-: A near perfect, likely unplayed, or played only very lightly on good equipment, record. Vinyl still has new gloss and there are
no visible imperfections. Cover shows no noticeable wear.

NEAR MINT MINUS or (NM-): Useful for describing a record that is in otherwise very good shape but has some one very minor thing which pulls it down slightly.

EXCELLENT or EX or VG++: Near perfect but one or two very minor defects. May have minor scuffs that are only slightly visible. Cover artwork is still close to perfect.
There may be some impression to the cover (ring wear). No seam splits or writing on the cover.

VERY GOOD PLUS or VG+: Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out-hole, indentation or cut off corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.

VERY GOOD or VG: This record is still good enough, a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between
tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice. VG covers will look worn, used. There may be some seam splitting . There will be some ring wear, where the ink has begun to wear off. Giving the cover a look of snow falling.

VERY GOOD MINUS or (VG-): Has noticeable wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise. Slightly better than "GOOD" and is playable. Just recognize
that records in this category are NOT going to look factory fresh nor play that way. Cover may have seam splitting and significant snow while still being recognizable.

GOOD or G: A good record will look very well played, dull, grayish, and possibly abused. However a Good record should still play. It will have distracting surface noise. Such
as crackle that is continuous or some hiss. Will also have some loss of dynamics caused from grooves being worn. Good records are beat-up records that will still
play without skips from scratches.

Grades below good (fair and poor) are garbage and should only be purchased if it is a record that you absolutely must have for your collection. They will have significant
defects and may be unplayable. Records in these grades should be considered something to be upgraded to an album in better condition when one is available.

Still Sealed (SS) - In factory-fresh condition in the original factory shrink wrap (Does not apply to Japanese Pressings as they generally did not shrink-wrap their records).
