Woody Shaw on Contemporary 7627/8

 

This is the original stereo pressing of Woody Shaw “Blackstone Legacy” on Contemporary S7627/8.  The records appear to be MINT, with a beautiful luster.  The coated gatefold cover is bright and clean throughout; 2 ¼” clear tape on the top seam, at the opening; the spine shows a superficial 3” break (no split) at the center and slight rubbing/wear at the hinge edge.  Personnel include Gary Bartz, Bennie Maupin, George Cables, Ron Carter, Clint Houston, and Lenny White.
