Description

This was Buddy Holly and the Crickets first release on Coral Records.  It was recorded on April 8, 1957 a scant two months prior to Peggy Sue and Everyday.  My personal opinion (we all know what that;s worth) is it was and still is light years ahead of Peggy Sue.  Of course they redeemed themselves with Not Fade Away and the unreleased "Mona" at that time.  Considering the value of the damn thing they must not have printed very many.  I have a promo and two commercial copies of which this one is the best.  The record is excellent but some one just had to write a number on one side.  See the photo.
