2 record lot of Vernon Dalhart with odd boxes, no lids. This collector was into Vernon Dalhart big time- lots of great cylinders and diamond disc 78 records of his coming up over the next week or so! 5394 The Wreck of Number Nine- some light scratches and a little scuffed, tiny bit of core chipped at bottom 5049 The Death of Floyd Collins- light scratches and a couple of 1/2" deeper scratched at end of recording, a tiny split starting at very top (at the first L in Collins) but not near recorded area
*****We're about halfway through listing this large group of cylinder records. I looks like there are plenty of fun titles left in very nice condition, overall. I'm moving into the bulk of the Blue Amberols now. Tubes with no lids may be mismatched with cylinders- I am simply listing them as found. Boxes are a bit dusty, some in rough shape. Records show typical wear and may have some scratches, shrinkage, light warping or edge splitting. I will show the tops, bottoms and sides of each lot so please look at pictures and ask if you need a particular cylinder to be looked over more carefully. Otherwise, assume that they are in used condition with this type of wear. I'll try to mention any major defects that I notice. I don't know how these records will sound so I am selling them all "as is".
I will pack these very carefully for you and combine shipping on multiple lots. Media mail is available- slower but way less expensive. West Coast, deep southern states may want to opt for media mail- just let me know.
