The 7th edition this series of American Soul Music from Cairo Records. 3 LPs spanning the spectrum of USA soul music styles from the deep and lovesick to joyous and redemptive; from well loved classics to obscure one-single-artists. Records one and two are pretty intense but it lightens up on record three and lets you breathe. Life is short, so you might as well feel it all while you can. comes packaged in a fancy gold foil jacket and includes a big full-sized color booklet with biographical and contextual notes for each song and tons of photos.
