"With the aid of electronic computers the composer becomes a sort of pilot ... sailing in the space of sound, across sonic constellations and galaxies ..." Iannis Xenakis (born 29th May 1922 in Br?ila, Romania; died 4th February 2001 in Paris) is one of the most radical and important composers of the twentieth century. He formulated a theory of stochastic music in the early 1950s, co-founded the Groupe de Recherches Musicales in 1958, pioneered the use of computers to compose in 1961 ... As architect, he worked with Le Corbusier and designed the Philips Pavilion for the Brussels World's Fair in 1958. In 1963, he published Musique Formelles, a collection of his articles relating music, architecture, and mathematics. In 1972, he founded CEMAMu (Centre d'Etudes de Mathématique et Automatique Musicales).

LET'S START WITH THE BOXSET . AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE PICTURES , THE IT SHOWS VERY LIGHT SIGNS OF HUMIDITY INSIDE AND 2  LIGHT MARKS ON THE FRONT . STILL VERY OK . 
ALL FIVE RECORDS ARE UNPLAYED (EXEPT FOR THE SMALL SOUND SAMPLE ) . ALL ARE MINT . 3 OF THEM HAVE A LIGHT WARP NOT AFFECTING THE PLAY AT ALL  (RECORD 2 SIDE E & F , RECORD 4 AND RECORD 5 ). STILL VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR SUCH A RARE ITEM .

RECORD GRADING IS  M= A perfect, unplayed record . NM= Record appears new, At most, perhaps a barely visible sleeve mark appears on the record. It should play without any noise or skips of any kind whatsoever. VG++/EX= Record has some extremely light surface marks. These marks do not affect play. Very nice copy VG+= Record has noticeable marks, Light surface scratches and may play with some very light noise, but doesn't overpower the music, Still very enjoyable. VG= Record has noticeable marks and scratches, plays with noise
