RARE COMPILATION VINYL LP WITH 'FOIL' COVER
PHILIPS/prospective 21e siecle LP - 1967
CAT NO: 4 FE 8503 / 836897 DSY
For auction is this wonderful 4 artiste compilation from the late 1960's
of far-out electronic sound-explorations by kindred experimental musicians/composers
Iannis Xenakis, Luciano Berio, Bruno Maderna & Mauricio Kagel.
As released in 1967 on the scarce prospective 21e siecle imprint
in a 'unique to this release' lovely reflective 'foil' sleeve, as was every one in the series.
Tracks are: A1: BERIO - Moments & Homage to Joyce A2: MADERNA - Continuo
B1: XENAKIS - Orient-occident B2: KAGEL - Transition 1
The vinyl is in Excellent+ condition
both visually & aurally. Very little intrusive surface noise
to spoil a fantastic listen.
The sleeve is in Very Good+ condition
but does have mainly have some edge-creasing
and a little bit of creasing/marks on the front cover,
but which do little to detract from the wonderful 'foil' sleeve.
