A stellar underrated album from the Native American rock band XIT (the Crossing of Indian Tribes). This is not as strictly conceptual as their debut album but they are at the point where they can express the themes of their heritage succinctly in songs, rather than suites. Their being backed by a string section gives the overall album a very outdoorsy atmosphere that corresponds to their songs' themes well. If you do not have much understanding of the meaning behind some of the songs, you will definitely have a difficult time appreciating these songs. The songs in principle are culturally personal and speaks of lamenting of their culture being assimilated, the challenges that comes with it as the song speaks of, and the eventful resilience;
