NEIL YOUNG HARVEST LP Original Reprise 1972 Pressing GATEFOLD WITH RARE LYRIC/PICTURE INSERT In crisp, clean excellent condition, vinyl possibly never played. The Best Selling Album of 1972 in the USA.
From original owner private collection, a former KROQ, Los Angeles DJ. Not a dealer and doing my best to describe accurately. I don't remember any other album in history with this almost flakey matte natural paper cover and inserts and this one is in awesome condition.
Cover - I'll call it NM because of one imperfection - a very small area of wear on the bottom left corner, see picture.
Lyric Insert and Inner Sleeve - MINT
Vinyl - Unplayed M or NM? The record is completely absent of any single line scratches or smudges. It does have a few areas with this very even and faint slashy wave ///// -from my DJ days I remember this mark and that it may be a manufacturing remnant. If it was some rubbing from human handling, there would surely be other marks too. Considering the rest of the album so pristine, I still suspect the record has never been played... (and I don't remember playing it!).
Will ship in heavy cardboard mailer made for LP's.

"...Harvest is the fourth album by Canadian musician Neil Young released on February 14, 1972 on Reprise Records. It featured the London Symphony Orchestra on two tracks, with noted guests David Crosby, Graham Nash, Linda Ronstadt, Stephen Stills and James Taylor contributing vocals. It was the best-selling album of 1972 in the United States.
The album's success caught Young off guard and his first instinct was to back away from stardom. He would later write that the record "put me in the middle of the road. Traveling there soon became a bore so I headed for the ditch. A rougher ride but I saw more interesting people there."
