X-LOS ANGELES 1980 SLASH RECORDS LP SR-104 IN A STRONG VG+-VG++ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! The stunning punk rock debut of the L.A. based band X in this auction. At the beginning of the 80's punk ruled the day on the Sunset Strip and X was arguably the biggest and best to hit a clkub stage in the day. The hypnotic Exene Cervanka and magical John Doe were produced by former Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek on this release. It includes such luminary cuts as the title track, Soul Kitchen (w/ Ray Manzarek on the keyboards no less) & the monumental Johnny Hit And Run Paulene. All fans of the band, the genre or the punk scene of L.A. must own this one, one of the best of the time!!
The record is in a solid VG++ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout. The cover is in excellent shape and the original lyric inner sleeve has a split yet holds the record well. An excellent buy!!
