Description

So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize.  Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment.  It will take a while !!! For instant sale is a really excellent condition copy of the first UK pressing from 1978 of the 'GERMFREE ADOLESCENTS' album by X-RAY SPEX.  It is on the EMI INTERNATIONAL label and has the catalogue number INS 3023.  A genuine UK first pressing it has the matrix numbers INS 3023 A-1 and INS 3023 B-1 and also 'MASTERED AT ABBEY ROAD -NICK' and 'NICK UU' in the runout grooves. The sleeve is in excellent condition for its age with hardly any marks, cornerwear or edgewear.  There is, however, a very small 'bump' on one corner.  The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable.  The printed lyric inner sleeve is also in excellent condition.  Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition with hardly any 'spindle trails' showing that the record has hardly been played.  The record is also in excellent condition and plays superbly with only occasional light surface noise and very occasional 'pops'.  Definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'.  I honestly think that you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this superb album.   The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class 'tracked' post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
