Description
Very early pressing of XTC - English Settlement 1982 Double-Vinyl Album on British independent label Townhouse Records, distributed by Virgin U.K. records. "Run-off grooves" at end of vinyl on all 4 sides have "TOWNHOUSE" machine-stamped on them. Sides 1, 2 3, and 4 each have the codes "A1", "B1", "C1", and "D2" respectively, etched in the run-off grooves.
Vinyl condition Revised after Play-tested on a Technics SL-1200 pro model turntable: Vinyl records both Near-Mint! No noticeable surface noise despite multiple plays over the years - obviously a high-quality pressing;
Album Cover is a strong VG+ leaning towards Excellent: Moderate wear at left & right corners at top opening. Otherwise light wear. No splits.
Original printed inner lyric sleeves Excellent. Stored in protective clear poly-bag since purchase, in a smoke-free, pet-free home. ...A lovingly/carefully played and handled part of my collection for 30 years. Unplayed in over 10 years, after I switched to the CD version to save wear on the record.
Ships Media Mail encased in thick, sturdy cardboard inside a thick, cushioned USPS mailing envelope for $4.00 ...or USPS Priority Mail in a Priority Box stuffed with protective padding for $7.50....
Up to 2 additional vinyl record albums bought within 48 hours of each other can be included in the same shipment for just $1 additional charge each.
