Description

Rare 1980 Disco Rap release on Joe Gibbs Music by Xanadu. The beat relies on a sample of The Whispers - And The Beat Goes On with sassy female rapper laying down Wordy Rappinghood style vocals. The flip is basically an instrumental of the A side, though it has a different artist and title. Early example of sampling and female rapping.  In VG condition with very few marks and plays perfect, but as a slight warp on the lip into the first groove or two. Did not affect playability on my turntable. Mailed in a cardboard record mailer with double inserts. Comes in generic outer and a new plastic lined inner sleeve and plastic dust jacket. Check out the pics and listen to the partial samples of the actual record below.
