For sale is the RARE custom/private press 1977 LP "The Anvil Of God's Word" by Jeff Johnson on Ark Records, catalog #ARK 61924. Hard to find debut project which introduced Jeff's longtime fans to his unique and moody art/rock sound. Gets a great review in Ken Scott's "Archivist". Songs include The Anvil Of God's Word/The Struggle/Sometimes When We Pray/Jesus Has Risen/It's In His Hands/Your Grace/Sing, We Are Children Of The Light/Bible Bedtime Blues/Funeral For A Church/Timothy, Preach The Word/The Rock/The Anvil Of God's Word (Reprise). LP in mint- condition with very clean playing surface, minimal background noise. Cover in mint- condition, still in shrink wrap.
