Description
As you all know, on March 11th, Japan endured a terrible disaster and are still coping with it. The tsunami/earthquake has claimed 24,000 lives and thousands of homes have been destroyed.
We are selling some very rare test pressings of various Tres releases. This test pressing comes courtesy of Y Society. Only 10 'Never Off' 12''s are in existence. All proceeds from these auctions will go to Red Cross to help the victims of the tsunami/eathquake in Japan.

Los Angeles based independent label, Tres Records brings to you “Never Off (On & On)” from Y Society’s forthcoming album Travel At Your Own Pace. “Never Off” features Boston based emcee Insight speaking his piece over Damu’s breezy production.
The A-Side also contains “Dizzy” a funky, enlivening track with Insight giving a introspective view on the past and present state of subjects ranging from hiphop, politics, society and everyday life. Damu’s production carries you along Insights rhymes with a fresh drumbreak and thick bassline. The B-Sides delivers a remix by Insight of “Never Off”. The smooth melody is complimented with an early-snare drumbeat and restrained bassline.
Y Society is composed of Boston resident emcee, Insight, and D.C. native Damu the Fudgemunk. Producer, DJ, and Emcee, Insight has solidified his career over the last decade. Countless releases and tours around the globe and earned him his stripes in the hiphop world. DJ and Producer Damu the Fudgmunk, or Damu for short, made his initial mark in 2006 as the man by behind the wheels of steel for Panacea. Together these two creative and passionate minds are Y Society, poised to drop their album Travel At Your Own Pace in the fall of 2007.
