Here is an extremely rare original 1970 Welsh Folk-Psych-Beat E.P. by the band 'Y Tebot Piws' (The Purple Teapot). This rare original 5 track Sain label E.P. comes in a excellent very colourful lightly embossed psychedelic gatefold cover with two inside flip-backs. The superb track 'Godro'r Fuwch' appeared on the 'Rare Welsh Beat Vol-1' various artists compilation album. This excellent very rare sometimes strange sounding Psych-Folk-Beat E.P. had a very limited press and so does not surface for sale very often at all. CONDITION
The thick pressed stereo vinyl looks excellent and still has a nice original sheen, there are a few very small light surface marks and some fine hairlines on each side but these do little to affect play. Both sides play and sound very good but there is some light background hiss/crackle, there are also just a couple of sporadic light tics heard, during the intro to side-1 there are a few repeated light background tics but these really are not loud and are over in no time. The gatefold cover is laminated on the front and back and also on the inside right, this sleeve looks superb and is nice and clean inside and out. The colourful pattern on the front and back is lightly raised/embossed around all edges. There is a tiny rip right at the top of the spine and also a slightly bigger one at the bottom, both are pretty minor and are hardly even noticeable. The inside gatefold is clean and free of marks or wear, the two flip-backs are also in excellent shape with no damage. This excellent colourful gatefold cover is still in really great condition. The 45 will come in a separate plain white paper sleeve which grades excellent.
