Scarce roots LP – Jamican pressing. 

CONDITION:       STRICT  U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.  I aim to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  It’s in my best interests to do so.  I WANT YOU TO COME BACK.    Records are checked in good natural light and play tested IN FULL at a high volume on high-end audio equipment.    Used records are cleaned using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine prior to play testing, unless condition deems unnecessary. 

Playing condition ranges fron GOOD to VG.    The lower grade due to easily audible rotational clicks and/or crackle on the first couple of tracks of each side.  Overall,  NO distortion  NO jumps  NO sticking. 

Visually, in good daylight, the vinyl looks VG/VG-.  A number of easily noticeable surface marks – nothing that feels to the touch.

Labels are VG.  Spindle marks evident.  Name written on side2.  All text perfectly readable.  NO stickers.

Sleeve is in VG/VG- condition.   Obvious edge/corner wear.  Ring wear.  Name written on the back.  NO seam splits  NO nasty rips/tears  NO stickers.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System  - VINYL

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
