Description:

  • An original 1964 UK first pressing of the debut Yardbirds LP in STUNNING NEAR MINT condition
  • Black & blue labels with "Sold in UK..."
  • KT tax code on Side 2 label
  • Matrix numbers - XAX 2725-1N / XAX 2726-1N
  • Front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse printed sleeve with flipback flaps marked 'Patents Pending' and date code 64/12 (December 1964)
  • Complete with original "Use Emitex" tracing paper-lined inner sleeve
  • Features Eric Clapton, Keith Relf, Paul Samwell-Smith, Chris Dreja, Jim McCarty
  • Recorded live at the Marquee Club in London

Condition:

  • This 51 year-old record is in remarkably clean NEAR MINT condition with only the lightest surface marks visible under a strong light. The vinyl is bright and shiny and it plays perfectly with no defects

  • The labels are clean with just a few spindle trails

  • The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with very light shelf wear on the unlaminated back. There is a single pen mark on the bottom left corner and some initials written below the catalogue number on the top right corner (see photos). Light rubbing on the bottom seam. Otherwise, all the seams are tight and undamaged and the spine is fully readable.
