A classic rare FIRST pressing copy of the YARDBIRDS first 12'' LP release - from way back in 1964 ! You very rarely come across these FIRST PRESS Columbia BLUE BLACK LABEL LP's as when originally released they sold in only small quantities so nowadays very few ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS copies are to be found at all.
And to find one in this condition is even more unusual !
Visually graded under a 100W light source the vinyl retains EXCELLENT sheen - with a few visible marks and mainly hairlines.
And the sound and audio quality on playing bears out this remarkable condition - it is graded at EXCELLENT MINUS with some very minor audible surface noise in places...but really hardly noticeable.
Both sides have been PLAY GRADED.
Side 1 is indeed graded - EXCELLENT MINUS.
Side 2 is also graded - EXCELLENT MINUS.
The record does not skip or jump and there is very very little audible surface noise at all.
The BLUE & BLACK COLUMBIA labels ( with 'Sold in UK subject to Price Conditions'text ) are graded EXCELLENT with very very little visible spindle wear or any other marks at all.
The thin card GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FRONT LAMINATED FLIP BACK sleeve is graded EXCELLENT MINUS - with only very minor wear at all - some very minor creasing to the laminate and perhaps the odd corner ding but even the white back is clean ! But certainly no tears, splits or writing and the spine is 100% etc.
All records are shipped in new custom made strong CARDBOARD MAILERS ( not card envelopes ) with stiffeners as required.
All items are shipped REGISTERED MAIL to comply with Paypal rules etc
We are happy to combine multiple auction wins and offer POSTAGE DISCOUNTS when possible.
