This is the Original Columbia UK 1st Pressing from 1964 and is in Excellent condition. The record is pressed on Thick quality vinyl, and is the Original 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label UK MONO 1st Pressing.
The condition of the record is stunning for an Album that is 50 years old, many of these are trashed and overplayed, this is not. Vinyl has an unbelievable shiny gloss with just a few light whisper marks. It is also great to find that the record plays as well as the visual. It plays with no pops, no clicks, no jumps and barely any crackle at all. The sound quality is simply STUNNING with no distortion and no groove wear either.
The record labels are in Super condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few very light spindle marks
Inner sleeve is original EMITEX and in excellent condition.
The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' Mono Cover is in Excellent condition. It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corner, NO splits, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing. The unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, some slight yellowing, and NO writing. An Absolutely Stunning Cover.
An absolutely Stunning example of this getting rarer collectable !
