Up for auction is a highly collectible true 1965 US first mono pressing of The Yardbirds' classic debut American album, For Your Love (Epic Records, LN 24167). This coveted edition was manufactured at the Columbia Records Pressing Plant in Pitman, New Jersey, and features the desirable earliest matrix runout text XEM110568 P 1A C1 & XEM110569 P B2 stamped into the dead wax. While the vinyl surface displays some light cosmetic surface marks, it has been fully play-graded and performs beautifully with crisp, loud, and uninterrupted mono audio.
What truly sets this copy apart is the exceptional condition of the original cardboard jacket. While most dark-colored 1960s sleeves suffer from severe scuffing, this cover boasts almost no ring wear or shelf wear, preserving the iconic six-panel photo grid flawlessly. It features sharp corners, straight edges, and a fully legible spine, making it a stellar candidate for collectors looking to upgrade an old jacket. Please review the high-resolution photos—including the close-up of the dead wax matrix—and bid with total confidence!
We ship ALL albums in heavy-duty custom album BOXES. This collectible record will be shipped well padded (with album removed from cover).
