Description
The Yardbirds
Original 1965 German EP
This is the very highly prized original 1965 monaural German EP
by the Yardbirds featuring their first major hits,
For Your Love (with Eric Clapton on guitar)
and Heart Full of Soul (with Jeff Beck on guitar).
It was on the German CBS label, and the b-sides are
Honey in Your Hips and Boom Boom.
The laminated color picture sleeve is great and has the
striking overhead shot of Beck with Keith Relf,
Paul Samwell-Smith, Chris Dreja and Jim McCarty.
The picture sleeve is in VG+ condition, with just a very
faint touch of wear around the edges and corners.
The back of the sleeve has darkened a little bit, and has a
name lightly written on it (please see photo two above).
The record itself is VG+ and plays thru beautifully,
with just some scant pops at the quiet parts of Boom Boom.
The original 1965 mono on all the songs is truly awesome.
The record still has its original black plastic adapter
(German and Swiss 45s in those days were always sold
with these adapters already inserted.)
