Condition : Disc = NEAR MINT / Sleeve = EXCELLENT
** This record has been in my collection for over 30 years, and is guaranteed to be an ORIGINAL 1960's pressing, and NOT a recent re-issue, re-release or a copy of any sort. VERY hard to find in this great condition. It would be difficult to find one in much better condition than this. **
A Near Mint condition disc. No visible surface marks. Bright shiny vinyl. No spindle marks. This record has been played very, very few times. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, scratches, scuffs or writing on labels. Excellent sound quality. Hardly any surface noise. Good clear punchy vinyl sound quality. A very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Sleeve in Excellent condition. Non-laminated. Still with bright vivid colours. Only very minor general wear. No seam splits anywhere. No writing anywhere. Slight creases to corners. A small hole punched at bottom left of sleeve, for USA tax purposes. Very little wear to spine, and all text still clearly legible, although the credits on the spine are partly obscured by the way the sleeve was originally manufactured (see photo).
Supplied in plain white inner sleeve, with slight seam splits to three edges.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
