THE YARDBIRDS----FEATURING PERFORMANCES BY JEFF BECK, ERIC CLAPTON, JIMMY PAGE
Epic Records EG 30135----2 LP SET-GATEFOLD
This 2 LP set from 1970 is one of the rarest Rock albums to be found! The Yardbirds recordings from the 1960's when they had at various times Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page on Lead Guitar. The LP set was quickly withdrawn from the market as these three superstar Guitarists had gone on to bigger heights and did not authorize the release of these recordings and lawsuits resulted. So finding a copy is a very rare find indeed! Gatefold jacket has nice liner notes and the whole package is in great condition. Great Christmas gift for the Guitar lover on your list!
