The French/Czech pair's latest EP finds the prolific duo sharpening their signature blend of death rock, EBM, future goth and rave into a fierce dance statement. Acting as a bridge between Suicide Disco 2 and the upcoming Suicide Disco 3, the EP explores love's darker corridors. From the digital and erotic to the toxic and forbidden, the music is alluring, seductive and tempting. 'Devil in a Skirt' opens with shadowy death-rock allure, a hypnotic tale of temptation and danger. 'Affaire de Coeur' layers body-pulsing synth stabs before bleeding into the frenetic 'Hide & Sick'. 'We Are the Party' is a driving EBM/techno hybrid where its pounding rhythm and commanding vocals recall the force of Front 242, yet laced with Years of Denial's own atmospheric menace. 'In Your Bed' pushes into acid rave territory while 'AI Lover' closes with a futuristic goth pulse that's equal parts warning and seduction. With poetic, confrontational vocals riding atop devastating electronic beats, 'Love Cuts' channels dystopia and euphoria in equal measure. Destined to reinforce Years of Denial's reputation as one of the most essential acts in today's darker electronic spectrum.
