Description
Yellow Autumn: "Children Of The Mist" 1977, USA/Vala Records VC 4599. Disc has a few light scuffs, plays M- except for two or three clicks at the intro of side two where there's a tiny scrape, still EX overall. Cover has some light ringwear, seams are rubbed white but not split, this is VG+. Has a nice photo insert. I used to find this LP back in the 80s (sent them all to Paul Major!) but it's gone extinct in the decades since. Pretty cool private progressive folk LP reminds me of the second Eddy Detroit album "The Philosopher's Journey" but I think this bunch was more Brit-folk obsessed and probably harboured fantasies of being "discovered" by Ian Anderson and going on tour as an opening act for Jethro Tull. The music is a lot better than the campy cover pic would indicate.
