This is a great copy of this harder to find LP. I've bought copies like this decsribed as 'MINT' on Ebay. It's not quite mint but the vinyl is certainly as close to MINT as you will find without travelling back in time and buying one new or finding that miracle LP that someone was given but never played. So the vinyl is really beautiful with full gloss and no marks visible even under angled light. I'm not hyping this LP the vinyl really is EX++.
The labels are perfection graded EX+.
The gatefold cover is not quite as good as the vinyl but it still grades EX in my book with only very minimal wear.
You'll struggle to find a better FIRST PRESS uk example of this LP. The matrices are A/1, B/1 and the stampers are 1,1,1,1 and 1,1,1,1. What more could a collector want. I've got two copies and purchases of other LPs force me to weed out a few duplicates to get through these credit crunching time.
BUYER INFORMATION
Please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT ('UNPLAYED' if still sealed in shrink wrap or occasionally full MINT but only if the provenance of the item suggests this to be correct). Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.
GRADING SYSTEM
NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect. For MINT grading see above
EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.
VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.
GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.
I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.
Check out my feedback and you will feel secure in bidding but please note I cannot guarantee to describe every detail of the record and cover BUT the grading will reflect the general, actual condition.
