Description
Very rare original 1972 UK pressing of Close to the Edge by Yes
VINYL: Issued in 1972 on Atlantic Records K50012, with A1/B2 matrix. Vinyl is perfect (no marks of any description, just lovely, shiny black vinyl). Thicker press vinyl on these early issues to later ones
COVER : Heavily textured gatefold sleeve in Excellent to excellent + condition superb please note this is the original which is very heavily textured both inside and outside later issues are only textured on the outside and are made of thinner card ,also later issues are made of white card if you look inside the sleeve originals are grey,the only wear is very minimal shelf wear tiny rubbing to seams very minimal,spine is near perfect.
ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE with lyrics in Excellent condition,with just some light ring wear
Labels near mint
Best copy of this LP i have seen so hard to find a true 1st pressing most are A1/B3 or later with front only textured sleeves are even shiny ones that are made of thinner cardboard
