YES 'close to the edge' Atlantic A-14095-DJ-PR, US 1972, VG+/NM.
Here it is, the ultimate Yes collectable; the rare-as-hen's-teeth MONO white label of 'Close', with banded tracks. This was a very, very small pressing indeed (a stereo promo is less illusive). It never pops up for sale- seems there have been just three copies auctioned on ebay in the last decade, the third of which was five years ago... And this one is beautiful.
Strong VG+ textured cover has some light rub/ seam wear as you can see. No splits or writing.
Vinyl is lovely. One side NM with just some light paper scuffs, the other perhaps closer to Ex due to one tiny, light scratch which is inaudible. Whole thing plays NM and sounds amazing in this full, rich mono mix.
Clean labels with no spindle-marks. Was probably unplayed until I gave it a quick spot- playing.
Original lyric inner with just a couple of light crease marks.
