Early issue with the plum/red labels .
The record comes housed in the very first/earliest possible sleeve printed in England by Macneill press. This has some general wear with light fraying on the edge of the front flap and a couple of minor creases. The inside has got a bit discoloured on the left side. There is a bit of tape residue on the photo side in the top right corner which also goes over to the top left of the back panel. The spine and text are intact but its a bit flattened. Cover graded as very good.
The disc has been well played and there are a lot of spindle lines around the centre hole. There are light rub marks and very fine surface scratches on the disc surfaces. However there is absolutely nothing that can be felt ie no penetrating scratches. It plays through remarkably well, often the case with these thick pressed 60's discs. There is some background crackle in places and the occasional pop. No loud clicks, jumps or repeats. Very pleasing audio with no major issues. Visual grade for the vinyl is very good, audio very good+ to excellent.
The poly-lined inner is present, possibly not the original but in excellent condition. No lyric sheet with this copy.
A very rare item in any condition, not a top drawer copy but still very decent.
