Overview

Fragile was the fourth Yes album - perhaps the perfect combination of great rock with prog leanings, performed by superb talented musicians. Considered one of the original, 'must-have' prog-rock classics, 'Fragile' features four main band tracks (three of which were over eight minutes long), interspersed with five shorter tracks highlighting the individual members' exceptional talents.

The album was recorded in September 1971 and co-produced by Eddy Offord, who worked on most of the band’s earlier material. During the recordings there was a major line-up change, with ex-Strawbs keyboard wizard and on-stage showman the classically-trained Rick Wakeman replacing Tony Kaye. I bought this copy on the day of UK release from Andy's Record Stall on Cambridge Market...

Fragile is one of approx 30 superb late 60s-late 70s rock and prog/rock LPs I have left to sell, all vinyl in VG+ or Exc+ condition - feel free to ask about others!
