Additional notes:   Great double album, from L A Forum Oct 1978.  Stereo.  Scarce recording, not TAKRL but it sure could be.  Here a re some notes from All Music Guide:

One of the best looking and best sounding Yes underground albums of the late '70s is In The Round, which offers a bizarre illustration that emulated Roger Dean's style. This two-LP set was recorded at the Los Angeles Forum on October 16, 1978, when Yes was touring in support of Tormato. Though Tormato had its moments, it wasn't among Yes' more memorable studio dates. So the main reason to acquire In The Round isn't songs from Tormato, which include "Don't Kill the Whale," "Madrigal" and "Circus of Heaven." This album's greatest assets are the passionate and inspired performances of "Roundabout," "Siberian Khatru," "Starship Trooper" and "Heart of the Sunrise" that Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Alan White deliver. Probably recorded from the soundboard, In The Round boasts excellent sound quality by late '70s standards -- it certainly sounds better than Periphet, a different double-LP bootleg of this Forum concert. This type of LPs of the '70s had a reputation for lousy sound, but In The Round certainly defies that stereotype. Although not perfect and not essential, this one certainly has its strong points. ~ Alex Henderson, All Music Guide

  • ABOUT OUR VINYL:  We visually grade our records very carefully and conservatively using Goldmine standards.  Near Mint (NM) actually means a nice, clean, bright copy with possibly a paper scuff. Very Good (VG) is a clean, fresh copy with minimal scuffs and /or light scratches, not affecting play. We try to describe all imperfections to record covers.  Near Mint means it is bright, clean and without edgewear, seam splits, writing, etc. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions BEFORE you bid!

  • All 12’s and LP’s are made in the USA unless otherwise indicated.
