LABEL no.: SD 18122
COVER: VG++. Gatefold cover is solid and clean, PROMO and HYPE sticker on front. small 1/2 inch CUT slice on spine side. Bit of corner wear.
VINYL: VG++. Nice and shiny and almost near mint. Slight bit of wear.
LABEL CONDITION: the Atlantic white PROMO labels are near perfect!!

COMMENTS: US original BANDED WHITE LABEL PROMO album. Includes original lyric inner record sleeve. It is banded for the ease of radio stations to airplay only parts of the long songs. The side 1 track, The Gates of Delirium, is banded into 3 sections, part 1 vocal-8:26, part 2 instrumental-7:04, and part 3 vocal-5:43. The first side 2 track, Sound Chaser, is also banded into 2 sections, part 1 vocal-6:20 and part 2 instrumental-3:11. To Be Over is not banded!!! Maybe the last great Yes album as we know them, this was the only studio album featuring Patrick Moraz on the keyboards!!

PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's. AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!!
ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier and 2 original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!
I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!! FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
