The older I get, the more I appreciate psych-era Yes - part 2. Once again Chris Squire's bass takes the lead, whereas Banks goes a bit more psychedelic in the solos. And Bruford really shines here, more so than on the debut. The orchestration was probably a bit too much addition, and it's a shame they didn't employ the mellotron instead. One can imagine the instrument being interjected to great results. 'Them' and 'Astral Traveller' are brilliant, and represent two of my all-time favorite Yes songs. Other great tracks include 'Everydays', 'Sweet Dreams', and 'The Prophet'. Excellent album.
The heavy vinyl with high groovewalls provides a fantastic audio experience with channelling not equalled by the later CD version. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing Rotel amp and B&W three way speakers!!! A beautiful CLASSIC with supreme songcraft, a joy to listen to!!!!
Vinyl: EX. I'm very happy to be able to present this gem in this great condition. Only lightly played . The audio is simply sublime played on my Technics deck with Linn Sondek cartridge and through my rotel amp and B&W speakers. This really heavy vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that went largely unnoticed at the time. No marks or hairlines, there are some paper retraction traces only visible under a strong light but this vinyl is a solid EX and a great upgrade for most collectors. Great replay on my premium sound system without any skips or jumps and barely any background noise or hiss.The labels still retain their beautiful original appearance without any spindle traces.
Sleeve: EX. INCREDIBLE! A fantastic looked after matt sleeve . Incredibly, barely any wear on the edges and spine, the opening is super crisp. The original lyric inner is EX as well. Of course the spine is fully legible. Please look at the pictures for a full appreciation of this classic album. NO damage, NO tears, NO writing or stickers, a lovely example of this beautiful classic prog album!

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
