THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly PRIZED 1st 1978 'STRAWBERRY' etchings pressing   - Stored from new this LP has seen possibly A COUPLE OF CAREFUL plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

This  pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all like this.

We can see maybe a couple of tiny spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are a few light whisp lines, and thats it-  nothing else!  No scratches or marks.  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, and therefore there are a few little dust specs on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard some lightest static in the opening dead grooves a few little pops along the way caused by the dust we feel..the Lp has not seen the light of day for decades..  ...possibly the odd dust pop which will not sound next time through we doubt.

Yes...the whole record plays quite superb.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     MINT-

Correct MATT  first UK issued earliest sleeve  - with WIDE square spine.

PRINTER CREDITS -  GOTHIC PRESS

 This is in SUPERB condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.  A very hard sleeve to find clean, and most copies we do see are always 'ringworn'. SO..finding one to auction is a real pleasure, and rarity.

The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub of any note,  and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No  ringwear -or ring press even of any note -superb.

The open edge remains in super sharp shape, a few tiny feather spots, and there is one tiny 'nick' on the bottom hardly noticeable!! ..

The spine edge is 100% sharp and no squash or rub at all,  just the feintest of tip rub.

There  are a couple of tiny feint spider lines on the edges -

We cannot add any more than this! it's a cracker.

Original card lyric inner..absolutely superb with no splits or damage- .
